Linux can run on a PC which has average configuration. I have been able to run Linux on Intel Pentium III with 128MB SDRAM, 20GB HDD PC.

I run linux on an Nokia 770 which is a hand held computer with an 800 x 480 screen, 64 megs of rams and 128 meg of flash memory.

It works great for what it is...

Bill, that is awesome! Have you tried Windows CE on the Nokia handheld? If so what sort of performance difference do you see between the two OSs?

No, my goal is to get away from windows completely! I don't want to use it for anything, much less try it!

I feel most people who try Linux because they want to get away from Windows. I am no exception. I have not used it in past month and have never missed it.
