| Yahoo! Answers: Which computer courses, according to you, are good to enroll? I live in Mauritius. Actually, I'm doing NCC Education A+ course. I will do Comptia Network+ at the end of June, simultaneously with CCNA. However, I will follow only the Comptia Network+ course but will not sit for exam. Why? Because it will be useless to pay for the exam, as I will do CCNA simultaneously, which is better than Comptia Network+. In other words, I will do Comptia Network+ to enrich my knowledge for CCNA. After that, I am planning to enroll for a Microsoft certification, Comptia Linux+ and CCSP. I wanted to engage myself in Security, but I prefer networking now. I would like to do Comptia Security+ then Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) as it costs only Rs42, 000 ($1400 excluding exams' fees I think) in Mauritius, but I prefer Networking. Well, my question is, according to you, which Microsoft certification is good? Please, it should be a course where I can get a job as 'System Administrator/Engineer', and the duration of the course must be atleast less than one year. Don't give me MCSE as it is two years as duration in my country. I have promised myself, on 2012 (at the end), I must complete all the related qualifications mentioned here. | There are so many careers in IT. I think whatever course you do, you will be fine. Just make sure you choose a reputable course provider before you sign up or part with any cash. I think Java is a good career, and also Networking skills, and SAP is great too. |

| Courses like IT are definitely in demand nowadays due to the advancement of modern technology especially when it talks about computers. My cousin is an IT graduate and she really hag no worries in getting a job because a lot of companies are looking for people like her who have the abilities and skills in handling computers. Just make sure that computers also catch your interest and you love what you are doing. |

You said you want to get into networking and security. Maybe there are more opportunities for you to succeed if you are good in internet or information security because it is always in demand in all companies anywhere in the world.
