Hey, i have problems when i install mysql in a linux mandrake 10, mysql installs well and everything works perfect, but when i install the GUI for mysql (mysql admin) i cant make it run, it just does nothing, what could i try?

This isn't an answer... but I never used the GUI. I learned mysql and how to administrate it from the command line.

As you didn't give the error code or the errors you are getting, so it is really hard to say whats the wrong. Most probably you would love to see the following tutorial:

This should help you a lot.
