Yahoo! Answers: website hosting linux/apache/cpanel - a directory menu?

Thank author of this post/commentIf I upload folders, with folders in those folders, onto my website (and I do not use an index page) then the server lets me browse right through all of them by making it's own index page that lists the folders - and then when I click a folder it makes an index page for that folder, and lists all the folders inside of that folder, and then etc etc - until I finally reach the farthest folder - Well that is very very convenient for me - but can I add just a little style to those automatically created index pages? I don't even know what to call them?

I believe Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a tool designed to separate the content of a document (written in HTML) from document presentation. This is very useful for content accessibility. I have tried using this one for my index pages. At first I can't make heads or tails of it, but when I started to use it, it was really fun and useful for web hosting. It is also good for setting a background color and drawing a border.

Hi there!

I have been using Linux software for a month already and I really love the offering it gives to me. I realy should give more compliments to the people behind this discovery. I hope many people would appreciate the work of software makers in improving the site we usually used. I hope I can be like them.

Thank you so much to all of you guys and have a great day to all!

I am not familiar with the things related to Linux. I am actually purchasing a Linux software next month for my new PC and I am really excited to know the things I can have when I engage my self in this matter. I really wanna know the things that I can do regarding this matter. An info about it is greatly appreciated . I hope it will be soon.
