| Questions: Ubuntu/Pardus - Linux PROBLEM!? ok. this is a complicated and long story. I first tried downloading pardus a while back. and my mouse and keyboard failed .. so i tried ubuntu (karmic) and it seemed to work. so yah everything was fine untill yesterday. they came out with lucid lynx. so i upgraded to that. and just to find out my mouse and keyboard both dont work. they worked fine for installation but thats about it. so i wiped out that and tried putting back Pardus. because that is really what i wanted in the first place (personally KDE is easier then Gnome) anyways so i installed it and my keyboard and mouse worked for the installation and about halfway through the kaptan setup when you do your first boot in pardus. IMPORTANT: every single time my keyboard/mouse didnt work i have USB, and PS/2's for both of them and neither work. sometimes they just decide to work but only for a short while then they go away again. I also have wireless keyboard and mouse and they dont work either.. any solutions?! --> I cant get internet without a keyboard and mouse. so i will have to burn packages that i may need to a cd. so try to be specific in your instructions |
